I don't know but here are words
Wonderfully put. Words about no-thing. I make a blank page joke in my book! You’re stuck with my admiration Lou 🕉️🙏
Thanks brother! The admiration flows both ways. I’ll be in touch, would love to chat sometime :)
I like Alan Watts description that "Zen is the act of effortlessly living" to live as you breathe.
He also describes Zen Koans as being like a joke. Something you feel that triggers enlightenment the same way a joke triggers laughter.

Is this from "The Way of Zen"? That was the first book I read about Zen, and also the first Watts book I read. I like that description, seems right.
I've never read any Alan Watts book 😅
Much prefer his YouTube Videos: https://youtu.be/NNSqX6K3-y8
Fair. Both the books and the lectures are great!
Is there an Alan Watts book you would recommend? Currently reading Terrence McKenna's Food of the Gods.
Ooo wow, one of my favourite books! You're lucky to be reading that. Enjoy!
My favourite Alan Watts books are "A Joyous Cosmology" and "This Is It". The former is psychedelics related, the latter spirituality related.
I'm a big fan of Terence McKenna... mostly through YouTube videos, I even have a playlist dedicated to him: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLNZW0AsN87ObMlGQMQqo_vtuuGnWBDKYt
I'll check out those books. Thank you!
